One of the reasons we headed home for Christmas was so that we'd have a better chance of having more of our family around for Jessie's baby blessing. Since we had that big snow storm on Christmas Eve, and it never really warmed up to or above freezing, church was canceled that Sunday, December 27. So we did the blessing at Peter's parent's house. It was a very nice way to do it.

We managed to have Peter's entire immediate family there. We took lots of family pictures the morning of the blessing. This was the one with the whole family all together. Aren't we a lovely bunch. :)

With all the family pictures we took that morning, I guess we just got all pictured out. We completely forgot to get a picture of all the people in my family that came. My parents, my brother, Nathan, and my sister, Robyn, were all there. We also didn't get a picture of Jessie in her blessing gown. My goodness, we totally fell down on the job on this one. So, I eventually got her back into the blessing gown and snapped this photo. She's nearly a month older here. I was afraid the dress wouldn't even fit, but it was just fine. My mom makes blessing outfits, so this was one of hers. Thanks a bunch, mom! It was gorgeous. (By the way, if you are looking for a blessing outfit, let me know, I'll get you in touch with her, and you can see if she has anything you'd like. She'd be more than happy to sell you one.)

Josh is always looking for an opportunity to hold Jessica. He's such a sweet big brother.
